About Tessa

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of why I love being a tutor. I have 5 years of experience working with kids in various roles, and 1 year of experience working with teens on college readiness. My preferred areas of focus are English, Science, History, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for students ranging from elementary to college levels. I prioritize an engaging, supportive, and patient environment where you feel comfortable to grow! I break down complex problems into manageable steps, connecting them to your personal interests to build momentum and confidence. I believe clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents is the foundation of our success. Nothing is more rewarding than watching your confidence flourish as you master new skills. I look forward to partnering with you to achieve your academic goals and celebrate your progress together!
