About Tessa

I'd describe my personality as kind, curious, and compassionate. I like working with kids because they are full of curiosity and life. Sharing moments of exploration and learning is beyond meaningful. I'm looking for a job that allows me to grow my skills working with kids of all ages so I can be a thoughtful and understanding teacher. I started working with kids 2 years ago when I decided to become a para educator and pursue my master's in teaching, specializing in elementary education. In my spare time, I like to read books, go swimming, have game nights with friends, play outside, and bake! One thing you should know about me is I'm new to the area and spending the summer here while I finish my degree. I am eager to please and happy to help out in any way that I can. My skills include patience, quality communication, and creativity. I work in a special education classroom and have become skilled at taking the time to carefully listen and tend to each students needs.
