About Teryn

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting students from elementary through high school, I specialize in making Math, English, and Science accessible and engaging. I prioritize building critical thinking skills by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your personal interests. I assess your individual learning style through active listening and open communication, ensuring our sessions are tailored to your needs. Whether we meet online or in your home, I foster a patient, supportive environment where we celebrate every "aha!" moment together. I believe consistent communication with families is essential to building the trust necessary for long-term success. Seeing your confidence grow as you master new challenges is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and discovering your full potential.
