About Terry

I was a professor in science for 20 years. My degrees are in geology and biology. I've tutored math through calculus. I taught kid courses at a natural history museum. I've created curriculum from scratch, including 5th grade science for the Lawrence, KS school district. I have been an emergency substitute for the Lawrence school district for 4-12th grade math and science. I currently edit manuscripts and have included how to write and orally present topics in my university courses. Im well-trained in the fundamentals of art. I have a great passion for teaching. Oddly enough, I'm an expert on how to teach Frisbee throwing and the team sport of ultimate to kids and adults. I've taught one way or another most of my life and find children much more fun than adults--I started babysitting when I was 10. I've also been a preschool assistant. Learning is play!
