About Terri

I am a semi-retired Occupational Therapist seeking purposeful work to fulfill my desire to help others. I have worked with seniors in all settings and been involved in personal care, meal preparation, mobility, medication management, compliance with dietary restrictions and all things relating to living a meaningful life. I was deeply satisfied, but as the healthcare industry grew more focused on profits and less on quality care I needed a change, so I became a small business owner. Although it has been a good experience, there aren't many warm fuzzies! I serendipitously learned of Care. com and thought what a wonderful opportunity to help seniors live their best lives: in their own homes, on their own terms. I am kind & compassionate, patient & encouraging, quick-witted & silly, practical & level-headed, organized & creative. I enjoy music, movies, reading, nature, puzzles, games, cooking, & crafts and anyone from The Greatest Generation!
