Hi... I am a married 62 yr old from WV who recently moved to Florida beginning of this year to be closer to our only daughter and her husband and our 3 grandchildren... I have worked with the elderly for many years... My mother in law had dementia and me and my husband immediately moved in with her for 6 years and cared for her by ourselves... and that included doing everything for her..... bathing, feeding, dressing, etc... and Do not regret it for one minute.. I am a very caring, patient and nurturing person who has a very loving heart... I also cared for my Aunt and Uncle who were both in their 90's for a little over a year until they both passed away a couple months from each other . Then right after that I started working for a former school teacher of mine (she is 88) and who also was diagnosed with dementia ... I worked overnights 5pm-9 a.m. .. With that being said I am very well hands on trained for the elderly.....
