I like caring for seniors because years ago I was a CNA and through the experience of caring for the residents, I developed a passion to enrich the lives of the senior population. For the past 4 years I have had the privilege of caring for my Mom as she needed care while living in her own home and then her transitioning into an Assisted Living apartment and now in a Memory Care Unit. I also enjoy engaging with the other residents where Mom lives and try to be an encouragement to them also. I started caring for seniors when I was 17 years old - I obtained my CNA certification and started working in a nursing home. In my spare time, I like to walk daily, enjoy gardening, spending time with family and friends, sewing, knitting, and cooking.
