About Terralynn

Hey there! My name's Terralynn. I've been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, and have been teaching it privately since high school. I have 4 years experience working as a painting instructor at a pottery studio, 1 year working as a craft instructor at an art supply store, 1 year working as an art instructor privately for a 10-year-old, and am currently teaching art classes part-time at two public schools in Manhattan. It is my sincerest belief that creating art and sharing art is one of the most enriching activities a person can do: on a personal level it is therapeutic and confidence-building, and on a societal level it has been proven to help people better relate to one another. I believe art making should first-and-foremost be fun, and with that in mind I'm careful to tailor my lessons to my student's individual background and interests.
