Families have valued my punctuality, experience and the peace of mind that I provide. While I never persued my degree as an RN, I have maintained my HHA (Home HeaIthcare Aide) certification through the state of Indiana. During my tenure, I have worked closely with survivors of dementia/Alzheimer's, stroke, ALS, Parkinson's, cancers, rehab/therapy assistance and hospice to mention a few.

My goal is often to help the entire family with tasks within the home so they may peacefully visit and spend quality time with one another. I strive to give a higher quality of life as well as the compassion, patience and care that I hope one day I will receive.

A professional background check is available and I keep up on all of my vaccinations for the well-being of myself and the people I care for. I apologize for my stoic passport picture. It is the only one this site would accept. Additionally, my schedule is usually flexible.

Terese' years of experience allowed her to understand the challenges involved with caring for my loved one. She handled situations professionally and with compassion. She was honestly the best caregiver I had hired and would keep her on if my loved one wasn't moving to assisted living.

I hired Terese at the point where I was no longer comfortable leaving my 86 year old husband, who has Lewy Body Dementia, home  alone. Terese inspires immediate confidence with her friendliness and attention to detail. She quickly learned my husband's likes and he, in turn, was very comfortable with her. The gift of being able  to run errands or attend appointments without worries cannot be overstated. Terese is kind, competent, reliable and goes out of her way to do her job.

Terese has been providing care for my elderly father since late January. She is attentive, kind and very patient. She takes care of helping him in the mornings with his breakfast and kitchen clean-up. She is an excellent listener and communicator. She is also very reliable. 

Terese cared for my 48 year old husband after he suffered a heart attack and stroke.  She is kind, trustworthy, reliable and treated my husband with dignity after him suddenly losing his independence and ability to speak and communicate normally.  Her responsibilities included providing his medications, transporting him to labs and therapies, meal preparation and daily exercise. 
She is also a good communicator and promptly responds to questions/inquiries.

Terese has been an amazing help to my parents. I hired her a few months prior to writing this review, back when my mother was experiencing severe depression due to various physical ailments. 

She responded within a few minutes of me posting the job. The first thing that stood out to me was her professionalism. After talking to her a bit and having her meet my parents, we decided to hire her - which turned out to be the right decision. My mother's moods have significantly improved since hiring her, and I'm convinced that Terese's care has been instrumental in helping her get there.

She's far exceeded the bare minimum of care - attending to their physical needs while remaining sensitive and responsive to the subtle needs as well. My parents are happier, and I have peace of mind knowing they are being well taken care of.

Terese was professional and courteous, keeping me well-informed about my mother.

Terese is caring, compassionate and very dependable. She proved that no job is too big or too small and accepted a one time job for me and if I needed someone to fill a care role again, I would choose her without hesitation. She stepped in and helped fill the role of a family member for the job I needed, not JUST a care giver or companion. She never complained, was there as much as I needed her and then even though she had to stay longer than first agreed to complete what I needed, she did exactly that. She is an exemplary member of this site, a hard worker and also as a person, she is very warm and caring. Caring for others is what she is meant to do and I would recommend her to anyone who needs someone to care for a family member when they cannot be there to do the work themselves.  

Terese was available immediately which provided security and a peace of mind for our family. My family drew on her experience and support to help care for my mother. At the end of my mother's time, Terese was there to provide guidance, support, and care to her and our whole family. Terese's willingness to help, give advice, and emotional support was  for my mother and our family was a true blessing.

I have hired Terese twice.  In 2016/17 as a care companion for my Mom who had Alzheimer's. Terese cared for my mother, who has Alzheimer's, 3 days a week. We couldn't have asked for a more caring and skilled care giver. Terese had a knack for making activities fun and helping my Mom feel more like she had a friend rather than a caregiver. She was very skilled in dealing with my Mom's dementia. She had an excellent comprehension for the disease and was able to care for my Mom in a way that my Mom felt like she had a friend rather than a caregiver. 

My brother and I hired Terese again in March 2021 when our Dad (98 years) was declining, primarily bedridden and needed constant care. She provided 8-20 hour shifts while my brother was at work. She spent the night when needed, prepared meals and provided excellent care for my Dad until his passing in mid June.  

Terese is caring, always prompt and extremely reliable. She is now considered family and we highly recommend her services.

Enjoyed having her here with mom.  First person we have hired so rating is difficult since we have no comparison. She was able to handle the more difficult days.  With originally only asking for temporary help, she has taken another assignment.

Terese was very professional yet also personable. She was very prepared to discuss her background and asked good questions about the job.  While she took another position she seemed like she would be competent, reliable and caring.
