About Teresa

I'd describe my personality as energetic, empathetic and compassionate. Kids are full of curiosity and wonder! They are open to growing and learning. I'm looking for a job that supports you and your children as they grow and expand. Raising my son and daughter while volunteering at their schools was such a joy! I started working with kids as a babysitter, lifeguard and swim instructor. I taught flute and enjoyed hours of fun playing music, dancing, taking field trips. In my spare time, I like to hike with friends, play guitar, sketch, visit my adult kids in Santa Monica. I also enjoy traveling. One thing you should know about me is I love learning. I am a recently retired social worker at Kaiser. I studied jazz at CCM and have two Masters degrees. With loving encouragement children can bloom in ways that highlight their own joy.
