About Teresa

Hi! I'm Teresa, located in North Brooklyn. I'm a Social Work graduate student looking for part-time nanny/babysitting work over the summer. About me: I love working with children and families. I have 6 years of experience working in children's education and healthcare in the nonprofit sector, including 3 years of babysitting experience. My graduate studies have included coursework on Child Development and I have worked directly with students in an NYC public school. When working with kids, I enjoy doing educational activities/games, being outside and overall encouraging kids' creativity. I've been told I have a calming demeanor and I bring that to my work. I also enjoy cooking and am happy to help food prep and do light housework as needed. Ideally, I am looking for 1-2 days/week over the summer and to be included in the family's rotation of weekend babysitters. If this sounds like a good fit please feel free to reach out!
