About Teresa

I 65currently working as an RN for a health insurance company in Pittsburgh, but my first passion is teaching. I have a Bachelors Degree in Child Development from the University of Pittsburgh. I had a home day care in the early 1990s prior to obtaining my RN license. After working as an RN for several years I returned to school and obtained a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I did my student teaching in the Bethel Park and Canon- McMillan school districts. I substituted for a while and also worked for the Intermediate Unit teaching English as a second language to students in the Canon-McMillan schools. Unfortunately, I needed a full-time job at the time including health benefits. When I could not obtain a full-time position in teaching I returned to nursing. My situation has changed and so I am hoping to get back to working with children. I am reliable and caring. I am a non-smoker and okay with pets. I love children and would be a great nanny in any family.
