About Teresa

I'd describe my personality as mature, happy, discreet, aware, friendly. I started caring for seniors when my mother came to the Desert in 1990. I helped her with shopping, errands, doctor's appointments, bill paying, and whatever else she needed. In the last four years of her life she was bedridden. Therefore, I also have experience feeding, bathing, changing, dressing, transferring and the associated housekeeping, cooking and other assistance needed. I enjoy caring for seniors for the personal satisfaction of helping a person or family during a challenging time. I have experience and have the empathy to listen. I can assist my clients with many things so please ask. In my spare time, I like to sing, read and cuddle with my two little dogs. One thing you should know about me is I'm proficient in English, educated and trustworthy. My skills include communication, computers, among others. For this work, I have been certified in Transferring, CPR and First Aid.
