I have been a nanny and homeschooled one of the children with ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder for about 8 years both full and part time for a family. So I perused a degree in Sociology with an emphasis in social work. After college I worked with high risk children and their families and did case management. This is after dealing my my children's own special needs. They are grown now but one still lives with me and will need some care always from TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). My youngest son is a Jr. at HS. Since he is the youngest and has seen the struggles of his older brother and me dealing with it, he has become a very compassionate young man. There is always a silver lining! I went back to school and have my preliminary teaching credential. My goal is to continue my education and become a school counselor.
