I like tutoring because I enjoy helping children learn and grow. I find it rewarding to see children having that lightbulb moment with a topic they've been struggling to understand. I'm looking for a job where I can help struggling students while my daughters are at school. I started tutoring during college, and have continued throughout my years teaching. My skills include math though Algebra 2. Math is one of my favorite subjects to teach and tutor. I've had significant success helping struggling students understand concepts they've struggled with previously. I've also worked quite a bit with students who have needed help understanding English literature concepts and writing papers. Other subjects I've tutored include Latin, grammar, science, and music.

Teresa has been tutoring my daughter from past 3 years. She is very helpful & patient. She makes sure my daughter understands concepts. She creates a vey positive & encouraging environment that helps my daughter learn better. My daughter feels very comfortable and is never having any issues asking questions. I highly recommend her for any families looking for a reliable tutor.
