About Teresa

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to education. With three years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, and test preparation for elementary and middle school students. My practice is built on Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 student accommodation plans, ensuring every learner receives tailored support. I foster confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to real-world interests. Because I prioritize open communication, I maintain a collaborative environment where students feel empowered to master critical thinking skills. Whether we are navigating challenging material or celebrating an "aha!" moment, I am dedicated to your child's long-term success. I am currently welcoming new students to my home for personalized tutoring sessions. I truly look forward to helping your student discover their own love for learning.
