About Teresa

Empowering students to master science is my passion. With 24 years of experience as a TX Certified Science teacher, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I help middle and high school students develop critical thinking skills by connecting complex concepts to their personal interests and real-world examples. By actively observing how students interact with new material, I adapt my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or guided discussions--to ensure they thrive. I believe clear, consistent communication with both students and parents is essential to building a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am dedicated to breaking down challenging problems into manageable steps to help students reach their academic goals.
