I have over 20 years of experience with childcare, along with multiple years of experience with elderly caretaking (including end of life care) and special needs caretaking. I'm the fifth of eight children in my family - I grew up surrounded by kids and helped with my younger siblings from a young age. I started volunteering in church nursery when I was 11 and did that on a weekly basis for a decade. I've had many nanny and babysitting jobs through the years, starting at age 13. I've always enjoyed being around children and though there are always new things to learn, I know I have a good grasp on caring for children of all different ages, since I've had experience with all different age groups many times over. A few things about me - I love being in the outdoors, I enjoy hiking, dabbling in nature photography, kayaking, baking, reading, playing sports and board games, just to name a few things!
