Hello, my name is Maria Teresa but most people call me (Maite).
I have over 10 years of experience as a nanny, primarily caring for newborns and toddlers. I am patient, kind, responsible, and hardworking.

I create a safe and nurturing environment, help establish routines, plan age-appropriate activities, and support children's emotional and developmental growth. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, CPR and First Aid certified, and I hold a degree in Psychology. I value open communication with parents and enjoy working as a team to provide the best care possible.

Mayte (Teresa) has been our full time nanny for the past 4 years. We fully trust her to take the best care of our two boys. She is punctual, communicates well (fluent in English and Spanish), has reliable transportation, almost never sick. She gives plenty of notice before taking any days off. She’s flexible with scheduling and always offers to help with light household tasks. She really is one of the good ones and any family would be lucky to have her as their nanny. 

Very reliable and caring. I have a child with ASD and very picky with childcare that I can trust and who can follow his routine and cues. 

We cannot recommend Teresa enough! She is responsive, professional, and caring. She has helped us on date nights for over 2 years now and our 5 year old daughter enjoys spending time with her! 

She has been an as-needed nanny for us before/after school since our daughter was very young. She has also babysat for date nights, etc. Very reliable and flexible, which we truly appreciate. She is great with our daughter, who loves her!

Teresa was wonderful with our almost 7 month old baby girl. We have used her twice so far and we felt so comfortable with her in teresa’s care. She was so sweet, caring, very quick to respond and an excellent communicator.  We can’t wait to use her again! 

Teresa was very good with my 4 year old. He was always excited to see her and misses her when she's gone. And she always makes sure the place is tidy by the time I get home. I feel lucky to have her

Teresa was my sons nanny when he was one almost to about 1 and a half. She also watched my daughter who was 5 at the time when she was sick or at home on holiday. She is a sweetheart and my kids adore her. She still babysits for us! Teresa is energetic and playful with the kids. She is easy going and always affectionate with the whole family.

So glad we hired Teresa to watch our 4 year old and 10 month old! She was willing to meet me and my kids before babysitting so the kids could meet her, and the kids loved her already! She even arrived early on the day I needed her to babysit! Teresa watched my children for 6 hours, and when I returned I could tell my kids were very well taken care of, my daughter didn't want her to leave!! Thank you Teresa for taking such great care of my babies, we will definitely hire you again!!

Teresa, is a hard worker young lady who took care of my 2 sons for 2 years. Always on time very loving caring to the children under her care. I highly recommend her for any job as a Nanny/babysitter. She hardly ever missed work never had to be directing  her on her duties. Took care of all the needs of my children and became part of our family. 

What can I say about Teresa? She is wonderful! She has been with us since my LO was 3 months old (now 11 months). We are so sad she is leaving. Only left because she moved otherwise she would still be with us. Teresa is punctual, wonderful with my little one, helps tend to our dog and helps around the house. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Teresa! And we will miss you! Good luck in finding something new.
 

Teresa has been great! I hired her after one conversation and she was available to sit for us a few days later. Our kids had a great time!

Teresa is an extraordinary person to deal with. We have hired her during some weekends and she is really good in taking care of kids.  The first time we talked to her, we were a little bit nervous about getting her services but once she stared to explain to us, that she has a bachelors in psychology and that she had  more than 5 years of experience, we felt a little bit more comfortable with it. I really do recommend her services to any families and friends.

Maria worked for me as a live in nanny from October 2016 to February 28, 2017. She was an amazing live in nanny and was responsible for taking care of my kids (3). My oldest was 5 years and the youngest was 8 months old when Maria joined our family. She was fast at learning about my kids, their personality, food preferences, and she helped maintain the parenting styles that my husband and I adopted with our kids. Maria displayed great interest in my children's well-being, they love her dearly as well as myself and my husband.
As a registered nurse, I care for my patients like they are members of my family. That is the same level of care Maria demonstrated towards my children. We loved the way she interacted & played with the kids. We never had to worry about our kids whenever we went to work. She helped with housework & running errands.
I highly recommend her!

Maria Teresa is a loving and caring person. She is a hard worker so that pursues what she wants. She is very responsable and a good driver. Kids just love her! I guarantee kids have a good time with her fun and happy way of babysitting. I would always recommend her.
