I'm retired and a certified teacher with a passion for helping students unlock their potential. I hold a BS double majors in Music and Business and have experience tutoring Math and English at the elementary and adult levels. My tutoring approach focuses on building confidence and creating a supportive environment where a student can thrive. I listen carefully and observe how you express yourself and the struggles you consider yourself as experiencing. If a minor, I engage regularly with parents to ensure everyone is on the same page. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing that "aha!" moment when a concept clicks. I'm happy to tutor at your home or the library. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
