About Teona

I'm passionate about caring for children and have four years of experience. My background includes working as a behavioral therapist for children with autism, a gymnastics coach, and a caregiver in group homes for children and adults with disabilities. I'm known for my patience, creativity, and friendly approach. I prioritize open communication with parents, following their preferred methods and collaborating on enforcing household rules. My favorite part about caring for children is their ability to keep me entertained as well. I enjoy playing both indoor and outdoor games, including physical activities, board games, and imaginative play. I'm always open to trying new things and learning from the children I care for. I have some college education and am comfortable caring for up to three children of various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and preteens. Those with, or without disabilities. I'm also fluent in English and ongoing my 2 years of ASL.
