I am a NY State certified teacher. I have over 15 years of experience and I have extensive tutoring experience in a variety of fields. I have tutored in reading as well as math. I have helped students learn to improve their reading skills through phonemic awareness and helped students navigate through the complexities of math word problems. Working with many different students with different learning styles requires that tutors be able to assist students in multiple subjects, and my experience would allow me to do just that.
