I have been working with the elderly for quite some time now, thats where my heart is. I took car of my grandma whom suffered from dementia until the time of her demise which made me study the disease even more. I have worked in several nursing home settings which makes me aware of athe responsibilitys of taken care of the elderly when it comes to feeding, bathing and assisting them with their normal activities. I always allow my patients to do as much as they can which allows them to keep their independence as long as they can do it.
