About Teni

Hello! My name is Teni, and I'm a 24-year-old caregiver who is passionate about serving my community and supporting families with dependable, compassionate care. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health, then completed a post-baccalaureate program in Clinical Translational Research. I now work full-time at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville as a Research Assistant focused on spinal cord injury research, which has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to support individuals with diverse needs. I have several years of babysitting and caregiving experience from my college years and enjoy creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. Outside of work, I love staying active (especially running), volunteering, doing crafts and puzzles, and being part of a positive, faith-encouraging community.
