About Tenenken

Hi! I'm Ms. Tenenken, a Lead Teacher originally from New York City. I recently relocated to Houston to continue my teaching career at a local charter school. I've been teaching since 2022 and have experience with both elementary and middle school students. I specialize in English Language Arts, including reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and literacy development. I can also support homework, test preparation, and targeted skill practice. I tailor instruction to each student's needs, identify skill gaps, and break down challenging concepts in ways that are easier to understand. I believe in building strong relationships while maintaining high expectations and making learning engaging. Whether your child needs to catch up, stay on track, or be challenged beyond their current level, my goal is to help them become a confident, independent learner.
