About Tena

I wear many hats, but caring for others, teaching, and creating have always been at the heart of who I am. As a mother of four with a master's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Touro University, I understand that every child is unique. My love for teaching began in childhood, with my younger brother as my first student! I believe learning should be engaging and tailored to each child's needs. Through hands-on activities, creativity, and conversation, I strive to build confidence and celebrate every success. Most importantly, I believe children have just as much to teach us as we have to teach them. Beyond education, I'm an artist, animal lover, and entrepreneur developing a skincare line for families with sensitive skin. I also enjoy taking part in craft shows. I understand the trust it takes to place a loved one in someone else's care. Whether children, adults, or furry family members, I bring patience, compassion, and genuine dedication.
