About Tena

First off, I am a mother of 4. I have worked with elementary students and my own children for many, many years. With my early childhood experience and graduate degree in education, I am dedicated to fostering a genuine love for learning. Success is found by tailoring my approach to your child's unique needs through visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue. My view is that not only is it important to teach a child, but even more important to be open to allow the child to teach us. Then, together we will celebrate every "aha!" moment and all the small things as we master new skills together. I have extensive experience with children with eczema as my children suffer with eczema as well. I am currently launching a skincare line for sensitive skin to help children like them. I am an artist in my free time and take part in craft shows annually. Lastly, I truly adore pets and they love me back. Rest assured, your loved ones, furry or not, are in good hands with me.
