About Tena

I have worked as a Nurse Aide from 2001-2004 for staffing agencies in Portsmouth and Chillicothe, and also for Hospice. I worked with patients of all ages in their private homes and in nursing facilities. I have cooked, cleaned, and provided personal care and companionship. Monitoring vital signs and reporting patient condition was done regularly. Skills include, changing a bed with a patient in the bed, lifting, transferring, bathing/showering, dressing, feeding, diapering, cleaning drainage tubes and toileting. I have worked with paraplegics, people of all ages who are able to move about freely, and Alzheimer's patients. Palliative care for hospice patients is also part of my experience. I am dependable, trustworthy, and hard working, I have reliable transportation. References are available on request.
