I was a foster parent to children ages 0-20 for 6 years specializing in teen parents, sibling groups, emotionally and behaviorally challenged and infant/toddlers. I enforce household rules and prefer to follow the parents' lead. I will ensure that your children are clean and your home will be returned to you as you left it. My rates start at $32. 50 for one child and $5 more for each additional child within the same family.

She is an awesome and phenomenal childcare provider and tutor. Our son is in kindergarten, and his test scores have improved by 6 points for math and 10 points for reading since the first quarter. She makes tutoring so much fun, and she is such a lovable person. Although I wish I could keep her to myself, I want your child to experience how amazing she is. She is lively, energetic, and you can hear her joyful presence throughout the whole house.

Tekisha is the best thing to happen to our family!! She goes above and beyond a regular sitter/nanny. She not only watches our kids but supports their development and education; she comes up with a range of engaging activities that are age appropriate yet challenging, contemporary with a blend of “old school”, and culturally relevant that supports the whole child. She is so full of energy and so much fun. She also is so encouraging and supportive and has been a great thought partner and sounding board as we navigate all the challenges of raising little ones. The best!

I would probably still be crying through homework if it was not for Tekisha! She is absolutely amazing, effective, and efficient. She has been tutoring my twin girls, who are in second grade, since November 2023. My twins were in a Spanish Immersion school for Kindergarten and 1st grade and had just learned their phonetics in English the second half of 1st grade. They could only read short vowel one syllable words when Tekisha came along this school year. In 1 month, she had them reading at 75% accuracy. I loved that she provided regular progress reports. Tekisha also provided completion criteria of reading at 100% accuracy in 4 months and the ability to author their own book. With only 3 months with Tekisha, my girls are able to read their instructions for their hw on their own and complete their work with minimal assistance. They are reading entire books, and have the desire to call out and read every word that they see. She has a curriculum driven for success and her personality keeps my twins excited and engaged. I am so grateful for the work she has done with my girls and I could not have imagined for a better experience for them and me.

Tekisha is an outstanding child care provider.  She takes care of every need even if it's something you didn't request. She exudes confidence and radiates joy. She dances, sings, plays with the toys, cooks, cleans, washes laundry, teaches, changes outfits as appropriate and potty trains...whew it's more than I can do in a day!  My husband and I appreciate her and our children enjoy spending time with her.  Hire her if you need someone to take excellent care of your children and home.

we moved to FL with no family , therefore needed to find child care for our 2 year old & now we have a 6 week old & she cares for both of them. truly never trusted anyone with my children but tekisha is amazing! she's always available when we need her , always helping in every way she can , cleaning up any mess made during her time just truly overall great! don't think we could have found a better care taker for our children.

Tekisha is an amazing sitter, I cannot wait to hire her again. She babysat my special needs son and they got along great. She was very prompt, precise, and perfect.

Tekisha was a blessing when we found her! We are new parents and got very overwhelmed very quickly, like most. We especially had difficulties with the overnight routine, as we are both full time working parents. Tekisha was a night nanny for us from about 6 weeks to almost 4 months. She was dependable, caring, loving, and honest. She truly cared for our son and was very diligent in her work. She offered advice on first time parents, when asked. She left our home the same way in which she found it - clean and tidy. Though we no longer utilize her as a night nanny, we still call on her for baby sitting from time to time as needed. If you are looking for someone who is honest, caring/nurturing, and trustworthy with your child and your home - Tekisha is your person!

My son loves Tekisha! She’s ALWAYS on time and has a great demeanor. I trust her to care for my son the way I would. Would hire her again. In fact, I have already! ;) 

Takisha took care of my daughter who has CP total care and is on a feeding tube. She was fantastic with her and able to follow all of our necessary directions we had to give. She sent me pictures and made sure I was comfortable with her watching my daughter. We would 100% hire her again.

Mrs. Tekisha is an amazing and reliable caregiver. My daughter loves spending time with her. She is always on time to pick up my daughter and even made time to pick her up early on days that she is sick.

Tekisha Is amazing!  When we met we had an instant connections.  She is the perfect caregiver for our granddaughter.  She brings fun, structured and unstructured play, and learning to our home.  Our granddaughter loves her and looks forward to spending time with her.  Her vast background prepares her to handle any emotions that may come up during the course of her stay.  She helped our granddaughter understand her feelings and helped her to express them in a positive manner.  She sets expectations and helps the child to achieve them.  She is a great communicator.  She's a blessing to our family.  She's the best!

She was a Godsend! My baby girl, 20months, warmed up to her in just minutes.  And, I swear it, after one day together I feel like my daughter's vocabulary doubled. When I was tucking her in tonight she had so many new words!!

I hired Tekisha for 2 days for a last minute getaway.  She was great! She was really good with my 7 year old  niece and showed so much enthusiasm while caring for her. My niece really enjoyed her time with Tekisha and cried when she left. I would definitely hire her again. Thank you

Where do I start with Ms. Tekisha?? She is absolutely amazing! I hired her to care for my 2 year old daughter for the day while we took our older kids to Disney world in Orlando. We were coming in from Atlanta, so we initially had a video meeting to meet and talk. We agreed that she was a good fit. The day of, she came early, brought multiple toys for my daughter to play with, and was extremely attentive. My daughter warmed up to her immediately. She sent me multiple updates and pictures throughout the day and adhered to her routine down to her bath time and how I liked her to go to sleep. She even tidied up our condo kitchen on her own! Ms. Tekisha is kind, punctual, energetic and organized. Above all - she puts out so much positivity and good energy - you cannot reproduce, fake, or manufacture that. I truly felt she cared for my daughter as good as I would have and she has an amazing gift. I do not have one negative thing to say about her. You will NOT be disappointed.

I absolutely recommend Ms. T! She is amazing and my daughter adores her dearly! Always punctual, very easy to communicate with, and flexible! I couldn't have asked for a better person to care for my child. Highly recommend.

Tekisha was wonderful with our 4.5 month old! She talked with him, sang nursery rhymes, and went for a walk with him! She sent updates throughout their time together, which helped calm my first time mom nerves. She is awesome!
