About Teja

Hi, I officially started working with children in 1997 at Plaster and Pottery in NYC hosting birthday parties for children as well as drop off times. I had my own child in 2001 and a few other jobs in between more business management related. I began working for Gymboree Play and Music 2005 and quickly became assistant manager and lead teacher of all classes and ages including art. I worked at Duke Children's Campus in 2007 creating lesson plans for 10 toddlers while caring for a then 13-month-old boy I met his amazing family and become their nanny in 2009. I worked for them 6 wonderful years filled with love and joy. They grew to consist of two boys and one beautiful little girl. We still keep in touch. I worked for Duke interns with two girls age 2 and newborn until they moved. 2016 began work with another hospital related family until currently. I love arts crafts & active children. Kids are amazing and fill the world with joy!
