About Teia

As a college student working towards my early childhood education associates degree. I'm committed to making a positive impact on their lives while providing families with reliable childcare. With about 2 years of experience with working with kids for required credits I'm comfortable caring for 3 children at a time. My patient and calm personality, coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to engage in board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I also explore technology-based games and apps that are age-appropriate. I prioritize open communication with parents, providing regular updates and using their preferred communication method. I'm confident in enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. In addition to my experience, I've taken Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses and completed coursework in Early Child Development. And I'm certified through Red Cross.
