About Taylor

Taylor is a responsible young woman who has always exhibited excellence, first as an assistant and most recently as a classroom teacher in the preschool department at the Worship Center in Burlington, North Carolina. Her responsibilities range from comforting crying children, to communicating with parents, to developing and implementing a lesson. She works well with others, and can be the assistant or the leader. Her ability to be a team player is invaluable to our department. A recent example of her organization skills is when we moved our class supply room in the church. This job not only counted on a person's ability to categorize but also lifting, cleaning and hard tedious work. Taylor worked intelligently and effectively - sometimes on her own to transform the empty classroom into a user friendly resource room. After the bulk of the work was done, Taylor went through countless bins of toys, school and craft supplies, paint, props, and miscellaneous classroom helps, sorting, tossing, color coding and labeling each container. In the 20+ year time span I've served with Trinity's preschool, I've worked with many adults and teens and have found Taylor to be one of those rare individuals who can be counted on. Simply put, if we ask Taylor to do a job, we can essentially check it off our list as done - even in those instances when someone was needed to step in at the last minute. Whatever the task at hand, Taylor emanates an attitude of willingness and positivity. Cutting out 20 sets of clock hands is met with the same level of enthusiasm and efficiency as teaching a classroom full of pre-kindergartners. Through the years, Taylor and I have often served side-by-side, and I can say that she's someone I look forward to working with because she's a positive addition to any team. She's pleasant to be around and converses easily with people of all ages. Whether the person on the other end of the conversation is an adult, a contemporary or a preschooler, Taylor's manner puts the person at ease. In conclusion, I can heartily recommend Taylor. I can't imagine any situation or place of employment that wouldn't benefit from her involvement.
