Hello! I have worked at the Hartland Childcare Center for about 8 months, including school time and summer break. The only reason for leaving was because I was starting Cosmetology school and needed a higher pay. I worked with 1st-3rd graders while working there and I loved it! I worked with three kids throughout 7 years (family friend) that are now 10, 11 and 5 years old. The past three years I worked with a child that was 2 and is now 4 and his new baby brother for about 7 months. Only reason for leaving is because the father is now working from home and the grandmother is retired and wants to watch her babies now! I also have helped a friend who has years of experience with child care, I helped her watch a few families she cared for throughout the years. I also took Infant Care and CPR classes. I love children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun!
Hello families, It’s my absolute pleasure to recommend Taylor, who has worked with our family for the past year caring for our son since he was about five months old. From the very beginning, she has been a calm, steady, and nurturing presence in our home—someone who not only cared for our son with incredible attention and warmth, but also supported our whole family during a very important chapter of our lives. Taylor is deeply professional yet so naturally warm and engaging. She approaches her work with care and intention, always thinking ahead and ensuring our son’s needs are met—from feedings, naps, and developmental play, to meal prep and keeping his spaces tidy and organized. As he grew, she guided him through new milestones with patience and enthusiasm, whether that was introducing sign language, engaging him in art and sensory play, or helping him learn through reading, conversation, and music. Beyond her childcare responsibilities, Taylor has an incredible ability to keep a household running smoothly. She is exceptionally organized and takes initiative in maintaining and improving our home environment—restocking essentials, keeping toys and clothes neatly arranged, and even helping us organize larger spaces. She’s also knowledgeable about health and nutrition and always thoughtful about the meals and snacks she prepares. Her communication skills are outstanding. She consistently keeps us updated throughout the day, shares observations, and brings up any concerns early, which makes it so easy to stay in sync and feel confident as working parents. Taylor quickly became an invaluable part of our family “team”. When my husband experienced health challenges, she stepped in without hesitation to adjust her hours and provide extra support. Her reliability, promptness, and adaptability gave us immense peace of mind. She’s the kind of person who intuitively understands what a family needs—whether that's structured routine, or simply a kind presence in the home. We feel incredibly grateful to have had Taylor in our lives this past year, and any family would be lucky to have her. I wholeheartedly recommend her for any childcare or house manager role. She brings an ideal blend of warmth, organization, and professionalism that would benefit any household.
