About Taylor

Hi! I'm a licensed teacher with 8 years of classroom experience, primarily in elementary education. I've taught 1st grade for 7 years, 4th grade for 1 year, and also have experience working with 6th grade students. I specialize in Math, reading, writing, and supporting students with IEPs and 504 plans. I believe every child can succeed with the right support. I take a patient, encouraging approach and tailor lessons to each student's learning style. I love helping students build confidence, stay motivated, and experience those "aha!" moments. I'm reliable, have my own transportation, and am comfortable tutoring in-home and around pets. I also value strong communication with parents to ensure we're working together to support your child's growth.
