While I have minimal paid experience, I have lots of personal experience! The bulk of my paid experience was under a service dog trainer in Oregon, and the bulk of my unpaid experience has been for my own dog. She's a 6-year-old standard poodle and has been a wonderful working dog for me, up until her hips started to ache a few months ago. I won't lie, part of my motivation for adding pet care services to my offerings is missing the level of structure and intensity she and I once had. I'd love to share the skills she's helped me foster with other dogs. Beyond that, I'm a cat person. I have a long history of adopting and rehabing disabled cats, and just love their attitude and natural way of being.
