Hi! My name is Taylor, I am 25 years old and currently working towards my second degree in Elementary Education at Towson University. I graduated in 2021 from Wayne State University with a BS in Public Health and a minor in Health Ethics. As you can tell I really love debt! I have hours, days and years of experience working alongside families and children. My mother owned her own in-home licensed daycare and for the last 6 years I have been a nanny to families in and around my community! I just recently had to leave my last family because the little man grew up and headed off to kindergarten- the bittersweet part of nannying. My school schedule this semester is rough because I am interning two days a week ; Wednesday 9am-12 & Thursday 7am-2 p.m. I also have regular class Monday & Friday 12:30-3:00 & Tuesday 9-12. Taylor was our nanny for our little one for over three years and still babysits for us. When she came to us our son had a severe speech delay, was completely non-verbal, and we were struggling to find the right person to help us navigate this difficult situation. To say that Taylor was a perfect fit would be an understatement. Her kindness and patience with him was above and beyond our expectations. Taylor dove in, not only bringing him to his speech therapy appointments, but also actively participating in his therapy at home. Now, at five years old, you would never know he experienced such a delay. When our son is with Taylor we can rest easy knowing he is safe and will be cared for. Taylor constantly plans fun activities and keeps him engaged in learning. Taylor has become a part of our family and we are eternally grateful for her help and influence on our son. She is loving, caring, responsible, and has a strong work ethic. Any family would be lucky to have her care for their children. We already miss her terribly.
