I come with 3. 5 years experience as a Direct Care Staff for a local day program catering to adults with developmental & intellectual disabilities. Duties included but were not limited to: - assisting clients daily with individualized goals specific to their needs/wants/preferences - track data on goals and keeping daily detailed notes on each individuals day - effectively communicate any comments/concerns with all appropriate parties whether it be within the building, parents/guardians, transport, etc. - assisting with personal care/hygiene - assistance feeding - administering medications/checking vitals - training new hires Along side that, I spent some time as part time/PRN staff for a local ISL, assisting individuals in their home with their everyday needs.
