About Tayla

Hello! Hope all is well! I am a 18-year-old local high school graduate. I just graduated with honors and a year of college credits. I will be majoring in Health and Wellness in the fall. I tutored through the pandemic, as a National Honor Society volunteer, and I have seen first hand the mental health and academic impacts of this pandemic. That is why, I focus on a more holistic tutoring approach, looking at academic success from the lens of bettering a student's mental, physical, and emotional health simultaneously. I am very passionate about helping students make use of their resources, and teaching them how to take care of themselves while striving for their best academically. I have designed two remote learning survival guides, which are tools to help kids navigate remote learning. And I often use these guides in tutoring sessions regardless of remote learning. I also specialize in organization and time management skills. I hope I can be of help!
