About Tayah

Three words to describe myself: compassionate, driven and bubbly. I grew up as the oldest of 4 siblings & 9 cousins. I was very hands on with childcare my whole life. I started paid babysitting at 17 through early adulthood. Aside from paid experience, volunteered in my church nursery for 1 year (0-3) and spent 2 years tutoring (8-12yr). I have experience as a housekeeper/personal asst. in a nyc residence. My desire to become a nanny comes from my mom. When I was young, she worked as a live-in nanny, and 20 years later, we're both still in contact with them and consider them family. I am looking for a long term position. Min. 1 year, ideally I'd like to be with a family for 5+ yrs - I also hold myself to a high standard when it comes to communication and integrity. I'm looking to work in an environment that prioritizes those values. I am very musically inclined, I studied piano for years, self taught guitar and I love to sing. I've also solo traveled to 12 countries.
