About Tawny

Hello! My name is Tawny Mapes and I would love the opportunity to take care of your furry friend! Ive grown up with dogs of my own as well as having the privilege to work at the Vancouver Humane Society for about a year up until moving to Portland. I have a 2-year-old daughter who would accompany me on walks/pet sitting as I'm a stay at home mom. With this in mind, said animal would need to be okay/not fearful of children. I always make sure my daugher is keeping her boundaries and not in any way overwheling our new friend. For most of the duration of meeting I would have my daughter in my arms, do a slow introduction with all of us and see if its a good fit. This will be my first time in two years doing something work related outside of being a stay at home mom, I want to put my best foot forward and resume some extra responsibilities.
