I strive to promote developmental milestones through encouraging creativity, providing learning opportunities, and fostering independence. I believe it is important for children to have the ability to express their creativity in a variety of different ways which could include cooking, dressing themselves, being physically active, creating arts and crafts, or making up games. Even though I believe it is important to foster creativity it is also important to create a stable environment with expectations and gentle discipline. Positive reinforcement, routine, and consistency are key components of providing a constructive environment. I love being silly! Even though this is true, I am a hard working individual who seeks to do my best with all tasks. I have over 10 years of experience providing care. Some examples of child care include; babysitting, summer camp counseling, teaching swimming lessons, and tutoring reading and math. My experience providing care to adults includes; training as a certified nursing assistant, and serving as night time care taker for an elderly woman.
