Learning should be an exciting journey! With six years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient environment. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material. I encourage open communication about what methods work best for them. Regular check-ins and feedback from parents are also essential. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples. I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement. Open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach for optimal student outcomes. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a college degree and am comfortable tutoring Math, English, Computers, and Musical Instruments at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I also speak German.
