Tauana was with our family from when my twins were newborns until they were 5 years old. Now the twins are 7yrs and she still has sleepovers with them to give us a night off or cares for them when I am out of town. I originally hired her because she had 3 long term families which she worked with during her 12yrs of nannying. With so few families over such a long time, it was clear she was someone other families valued. She helped teach me about babies and never made me feel like a 'new mom'. She helped me navigate the toddler era, would scramble after them when they were young children and still gives them a run for their money. She has the energy and desire to play with the kids but gentle enough to tenderly care for babies too. She brought in some of her Brazilian culture to the home with cheese bread (still a mainstay in our house) and teaching Portuguese. Creative. Respectful. GREAT travel partner! Organized. Pleasant.
