Finding the right person to take care of your child is so important. There’s an immense amount of pressure, especially as first time parents, finding someone who will be a trusting partner in the development of your child. I want to recommend our wonderful nanny who has been with us for almost a year. She has worked for us full time, 8-4 PM, fluent in English and Portuguese, and has never missed a day of work. The amount of love she pours into our son is pretty remarkable. The way he looks at her, smiles at her, and laughs with her just warms my heart. She has instilled in him a sense of worldliness, independence, and adventure. She allows him to socialize by taking him to the library, to playgrounds and parks, the zoo, storytime, music and dance. We have the utmost comfort in her travels and the ability to keep him safe. And her photo updates help us feel like we’re along for the ride! She has worked with us through transitions in bottle feeding, learning how to use a straw, baby-led weaning, sleep regressions, changes in nap schedules, and we’ve made it through all successfully. Over 20+ years of experience as a nanny and au pair from newborn to elementary-aged children, safe, reliable, non-smoker, and CPR certified. It would be my honor to recommend her to an amazing family and have the opportunity to see your children shine with her the way mine does.
