About Tashi

I am an early childhood specialist with over 18 years of experience in childcare. I have a B. S. in Early Childhood Education & an M. S. in bilingual education. I taught preschool for four years. I am very passionate about working with children. I have a lot of patience and am a nurturing person. I believe in encouraging cognitive, social, creative and physical development and enjoy being hands on with creative activities and learning activities. I love engaging in art and play when working with children. I am fluent in both Spanish and English, and have some knowledge of children's sign language. I have worked as a caretaker for many families, and taken care of children ages ranging from 4 months to 12-years-old. I have tutored children in elementary school and worked in multiple preschool settings.
