About Tasharra

Hello, my name is Tasharra. I have about 6 years of experience working with the elderly. I started in high school every summer my cheer team would volunteer at different nursing homes. The jobs consisted of helping prepare lunch and just simply spending time with the residents. We'd play games with them, read, have lunch with them and sometimes do small cheers for them. Following that I cared for a woman for about three years on and off whenever I was needed. The daily job included making lunch, giving medications, tidying up the house, sometimes bathing and helping her to and from the restroom and watching her favorite shows and reading to her. I enjoy spending time with the elderly because they're so wise and always seem to have a story to tell you.
