About Taryn

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. With a graduate degree and three years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Science, and Special Education for elementary and middle school students. As a certified teacher, I'm well-versed in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I celebrate small successes and provide positive reinforcement. Communication is essential, building trust and a collaborative environment. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence grow. I am happy to tutor at your home, a center, or online. I also have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to helping your child succeed and discover the joy of learning!
