Hi there! I'm Taryn, an enthusiastic sophomore elementary education major with a passion for nurturing young minds. With hands-on classroom experience gained through practicum placements and extended school year programs, I bring a solid foundation in educational theory and practice. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have over six years of babysitting experience, providing compassionate care and fostering a safe and engaging environment for children of all ages. I understand the importance of tailoring activities to individual interests and developmental stages, promoting growth and learning through play. Furthermore, I have honed my instructional skills through two years of tutoring, helping students grasp challenging concepts and build confidence in their abilities.
