About Tarrin

I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, where I earned my Master's degree in Bioinformatics ( a field at the intersection of Computer Science, Statistics, and Biology). Last year, I graduated from Brown University (an Ivy League Institution) with a Bachelor's degree in Computational Biology. I love tutoring because it gives me an opportunity to give back to the community and support students in achieving their goals. Growing up, I didn't really have access to mentors, especially graduate students or individuals pursuing advanced STEM careers. Because of that, I understand how meaningful encouragement, guidance, and representation can be for students navigating their early academic journeys. I hope to inspire confidence and show students the possibilities they can achieve through education and perseverance. I am passionate about making complex topics approachable and helping students develop both academic skills and confidence.
