About Tarin

Hi there families! I have experience with children as young as 1, all the way into teen years. I'm very comfortable working within someone's home, and managing complicated household schedules with several children! A bit more about me: After college and a few years working in architecture, I realized I was not feeling fulfilled. I realized that I was at my best when I was mentoring, tutoring, or volunteering. First, I worked with a large family of 6 kids ranging from ages 1-13. I managed the household, took the kids to sports, and planned meals. I au paired primarily for a family with one 4 yo boy, who quickly became my best buddy. Despite early language barriers, I successfully weaned the child off of iPad usage and taught him English. We went on a lot of day trips and adventures, and I frequently hosted play dates for multiple of his friends. I also took care of light housekeeping, and cooked every dinner. I'm hoping to help out another family, and get to know some new kiddos!
