About Tara

I am a nanny of going on 10 years of mainly full-time experience and would love to dialogue about taking care of and working with your children. As someone who is not only enthusiastic and conscientious about children's physical and emotional care, but also their growth and development I am passionate and experienced in working collaboratively both with children and their parent(s)/primary caregiver(s) to provide the best possible, while easy going, atmosphere for the well-being of the child/children. While my collegiate experience is in pre-medicine, I found that work to be too impersonal for my interests. My first formal childcare position was caring for and working with a disabled boy part time starting in 2001. I then was a nanny for three newborn triplets before spending three-and-a-half years in Germany working as an au-pair for a family with three girls. My complete employment experience is laid out in great detail in my resume. While my time thus far as a nanny has taught me the ins and outs of importance of basic childcare and house-keeping, my experiences have also taught me how to integrate into my professional families to a degree that allows the parent(s) or primary caregiver(s) to be worry, hassle, and stress-free, knowing that their children and state of their residence is under the best possible attentive and mindful care.
